A History view compares multiple data sets (also called a series) in a single, continuous time frame. The Cumulative Savings view is one example of a history graph and involves multiple data sets (expected vs actual) and the ability to adjust time dynamically.
To create a History view:
1: In Explore, click New View on the right side menu
2: On the VIEW tab, change Type to HISTORY
3: Select a graph style (line, area, column bar, mixed, or table). Optional: Select STACK YES or NO (not available for line style) to show multiple series stacked or separate.
The TIME tab RESOLUTION is the interval of the data displayed. The RANGE is the time frame of the graph.
4: On the TIME tab, select a RESOLUTION (1/4 HR, HR, DAY, WK, MO)
5: Select a RANGE (1D, 1WK, 1MO, 3MO, 6MO, 1YR, ALL)
6: On the DATA tab, choose a measure, units, type, and meter to define Series 1
7: Click RENAME SERIES, enter a name, and save
Optional: To add another series, click ADD SERIES and repeat steps 6 and 7. By default, the Y axis anchors at ‘0’. To unanchor the Y axis (e.g., weather temp below zero), click the anchor to turn it gray.
8: Return to the VIEW tab and click SAVE VIEW AS, enter a name, and save
